West Ham United reportedly turn their attention to Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic as they continue their search for a top-level frontman.

West Ham United have reportedly enquired as to the availability of Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic.

The Hammers are known to be chasing a high-profile forward this summer, with the likes of Carlos Bacca, Alexandre Lacazette and Simone Zaza being linked to the Olympic Stadium.

Slaven Bilic has so far been unsuccessful in his pursuit, but the club have now turned their attention to Mandzukic, according to the Daily Mail.

The 30-year-old Croatian played under Bilic for the national team and is likely to find first-team opportunities more limited this season following the arrival of Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli in a £75m deal.

Juve would be keen to recoup most of the money they spent on Mandzukic last summer, but it is thought that a bid of £12m could be enough to prise him away from the Italian champions.

Mandzukic, who could feature when Juve take on West Ham in a friendly in London next month, scored 13 goals in 36 appearances for the Old Lady last season.
