Relive Sports Mole's coverage of the Bundesliga clash between Stuttgart and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Stuttgart hosted Eintracht Frankfurt looking to continue their winning start to Thomas Schneider's reign as coach, but the points were shared in a ding-dong battle.

The deadlock was broken in the 14th minute as poor Stuttgart defending allowed Marco Russ to turn following a corner and poke into the roof of the net from close range.

Inside two minutes Stuttgart were level as Timo Werner poked a header in at the far post. Vedad Ibisevic had a glorious chance to win the game in the fourth minute of stoppage time from the spot, but put his effort a long way wide.

4.24pmHello all. I'm back for the second game in our Bundesliga double-header. up now is Stuttgart against Frankfurt.

4.25pmNo time for anything other than the teams before kickoff. So here they come...

4.26pmSTUTTGART XI: Ulreich; Sakai, Schwaab, Rudiger, Boka; Kvist, Genter; Harnik, Maxim, Werner; Ibisevic

4.28pmFRANKFURT XI: Trapp; Jung, Zambrano, Anderson, Djakpa; Russ; Aigner, Rode, Flum, Barnetta; Kadlec

1 minKICKOFF: Here we go then. Looking at the teams, Stuttgart look very storng, but you just never know in this league.

3 minA positive start from the hosts, as they look to keep the ball early on. They pass it around the back and are pressing well when not on the ball. First foul of the game is against Russ, who catches Timo Werner.

5 minArthur Boka takes the free kick, but Daniel Schwaab's header goes way over the bar. Frankfurt respond with their best passing move of the game, but Aigner is just beaten to the ball as he looked to get into the box.

7 minCLOSE! What an effort that is from Johannes Flum! He meets a right-wing cross on the bounce and it takes a slight deflection before going wide via the post. That would have been a fine goal.

10 minGreat defending from Rudiger. Aigner brings down a long ball with a good touch, but Rudiger anticipates where it goes and gets in to win the ball. That was looking dangerous.

13 minFrankfurt are now on top of this. Some good play from Constant Djakpa wins a corner on the left, and it is headed behind for another.

14 minGOAL! Stuttgart 0-1 Frankfurt (Marco Russ)

14 minThat is how not to defend a corner. A Frankfurt head wins it, which sends the ball bobbling around the box. Russ, with his back to goal, is allowed time to turn before toe-poking it into the roof of the net from close range. First blood the visitors.

15 minCHANCE! Fantastic ball from Gotoku Sakai to send Martin HArnik away down the right. He gets into the box and shoots low but Trapp turns it wide.

16 minGOAL! Stuttgart 1-1 Frankfurt (Timo Werner)

16 minThe 17-year-old draws the hosts level! A corner is flicked on towards the back post, where Werner is waiting to stoop a header into the net. Stuttgart are level immediately and what a game we have on our hands.

19 minIt's really end-to-end stuff here as Aigner powers his way through and sees his shot deflected for a corner.

22 minThe game has finally settled down a bit and Stuttgart are passing it neatly around the back. However, Frankfurt press and win the ball back through a combination of Russ and Djakpa.

24 minFrankfurt are getting a little nervy at the back and are playing a bit too direct. The ball pings about in their box before Zambrano gets it away for a throw.

26 minBoka drives down the left but is forced back until Kvist comes in to help him. They go right to Harnik, but his cross goes out of play for a throw. Frankfurt then look to break through Barnetta, but Boka is strong to win the ball.

28 minBOOKING: Maxim crosses into the middle, but Gentner is just beaten to it. As Frankfurt break Aigner gets the better of Kvist, who brings him down and takes a booking for the team.

31 minNeither side has been able to keep hold of the ball in the last few minutes and one of them needs to take the game by the scruff of the neck.

34 minStuttgart are beginning to enjoy a spell of passing, but there is not much pressure on the Frankfurt defence, with Russ marshalling them superbly just in front.

37 minStuttgart are waiting until Frankfurt get into their half before starting to press them. That is so Martin Harnik can push up on the right and get in behind. Vedad Ibisevic has been a little quiet tonight.

39 minBOOKING: Maxim has another chance to cross from a corner, but this time cannot beat the first man. Djakpa is in a bit of trouble for a studs-up challenge on Sakai and he rightly goes into the book.

41 minKadlec does well between the lines there to pick up the ball on the left side of the box, however Schwaab is across to win the ball and put it out for a throw. Will we see another good chance before the break?

43 minFrankfurt are finishing the stronger side, but Stuttgart are looking very strong at the back with Rudiger and Schwaab a solid partnership in the middle.

45 minOne minute of added-on time at the end of the first half. It looks very likely to be 1-1 at the break.

45+1 minHALF TIME: Stuttgart 1-1 Frankfurt

5.18pmAn entertaining first half ends and 1-1 is about right. Both sides will feel that they could have defended better from the respective corners that the goals came from, but on balance there have not been a great deal of clear-cut chances.

5.22pmBoth goals came within two minutes of each other. First, Russ reacted quickest in the box to hammer into the top corner from close range before teenager Werner nodded in at the back stick at the other end after Kraft had parried to him.

5.26pmAside from that, there have not been that many chances for either side. Indeed the best one other than the goals was for Harnik who almost found the bottom corner with a shot from the angle. That was directly before the corner, however, so they wouldn't have been ahead from it. Frankfurt need some more support for Kadlec, who has been isolated so far.

5.30pmNot long before we will get back underway here and I really can't see which way this will go. Stuttgart have been much improved under Thomas Schneider and I expect them to get the probably one goal that will win this.

46 minKICKOFF: Stuttgart kick us off for the second half, and immediately Ibisevic fouls Anderson, who has been very good against him.

48 minCHANCE: Jung delivers a fine cross from the right and Aigner stoops to his knees to head goalwards, but it's straight at Ulreich who manages to keep it out.

50 minPoor delivery from Maxim there, who hugely overhits a free kick on the left and it goes over the bar and out of play. The hosts are starting to pass it neatly.

52 minThe crowd scream penalty, but the decision is corner. It's a fine tackle from Zambrano on Boka and the decision was bang on. Maxim has another chance to deliver.

53 minSHOT! Ridiculous attempt from Harnik! He's almost on the goalline but instead of crossing goes for goal and of course hits the side netting.

55 minCHANCE! Kadlec has to score for the visitors! Rode finds Aigner down the right and he crosses low to the advancing Kadlec, but he gets nowhere near enough contact on it and puts it wide. What a chance.

59 minStuttgart have really gone off the boil with their passing in the last few minutes, but aside from that glorious chance just then Frankfurt have been unable to take advantage.

61 minBOOKING: Sakai is carded for an over-eager challenge on Flum. Schneider is also readying a substitution.

63 minFRANKFURT SUB: In fact it's the away team with the change as Flum comes off for Stefano Celozzi. That's a defensive move as far as I can see.

65 minCLOSE! Zambrano slips in the box as Maxim crossed from the right, but he gets up to take it round two attackers and clear. Straight up the other end Aigner controls a diagonal ball superbly but his effort rolls just wide of the far post. So close.

66 minDISALLOWED GOAL! Stuttgart have the ball in the net but it has been ruled out! Harnik did brilliantly down the right and Maxim turned it in, but the flag was up as Ibisevic blocked the defender from Maxim's shot! Stupid! Maxim should be furious with his striker.

68 minSTUTTGART SUB: End-to-end stuff now as Aigner is almost in again. This time it's pinched away from him as he goes to shoot. The hosts make a change as the excellent Werner makes way for Ibrahima Traore, who will look to take advantage of tired legs with his pace.

70 minSAVE! What a stop from Ulreich! Djakpa absolutely leathers it towards the top corner as he burst into the box from the left and the keeper pushed it wide of the post. That was travelling!

71 minSTUTTGART SUB: From the corner Russ hits it on the bounce but cannot keep it down. Konstantin Rausch comes on for Boka, and he is not half a bad player to be able to bring on.

74 minStuttgart are still on top of this, but Frankfurt remain strong at the back. The visitors are dangerous on the break, of course, as proven by Djakpa's effort a few minutes ago.

77 minFRANKFURT SUB: Rausch looks up and finds Maxim from about 30 yards out. There's no-one around him so he goes for goal but puts it well wide. Joselu comes on for Kadlec for Frankfurt.

80 minStuttgart are beginning to ramp up the pressure in the last few minutes. Maxim looks up and sees Sakai marauding forward but that's a poor pass to him and the young Japanese cannot keep it in.

82 minIbisevic is almost through, but he had gone just too early to get on to Maxim's pass. At the other end Frankfurt come forward but Celozzi's attempted cross is blocked by Rausch.

83 minMISS! At first Harnik goes to ground a little bit easily, but the ball finds Ibisevic who powerfully creates space for the shot. He's around 12 yards out but blasts it over the bar. He should have hit the target at least.

85 minFRANKFURT SUB: Armin Veh makes his final change as Martin Lanig comes on for Barnetta. They have some height on the pitch now to lump the ball up to him.

87 minBOOKING: Harnik is penalised for a trip and goes into the book late on. A yellow is possibly a bit harsh there are Frankfurt weren't looking like getting forward.

89 minRose goes in a bit hard on Maxim, but escapes a booking. There hasn't been a chance for a while and this is heading for a draw.

90+1 minCHANCE: Three minutes are added on and the first of which sees Ibisevic pounce on a Maxim corner, but slashes his left-footed effort wide. Tough chance. Maxim now makes way for Cacau - last chance saloon.

90+3 minPENALTY TO STUTTGART!

90+4 minMISSED! Oh my word! Ibisevic puts it about five yards wide! One of the worst penalties I've ever seen!

90+4 minFULL TIME: Stuttgart 1-1 Frankfurt

6.22pmWell, Anderson is booked for bringing down Traore in what looked a very dodgy penalty decision. Justice maybe was done as Ibisevic tries to place his penalty but slices it wide! What an end to a fantastic game of football.

6.24pmUgly scenes at the end as Anderson sarcastically applauds the referee, but I think a draw is the fair result there. Neither side really did enough. Thanks for joining me today for all the Budnesliga action, but there is plenty still going on so do stick around on site. Goodbye.
