Stoke City winger Marko Arnautovic reportedly hands in a transfer request.

Stoke City winger Marko Arnautovic has reportedly handed in a transfer request during the club's pre-season tour in Switzerland.

The 28-year-old moved to the Potters from Werder Bremen four years ago and has since made 125 Premier League appearances for the side, scoring 22 times.

According to Sky Sports News, Arnautovic handed in a transfer request this afternoon, having "grown increasingly frustrated with what he sees as a lack of ambition at the bet365 Stadium".

The report claims that Stoke manager Mark Hughes has "done everything to keep hold" of the Austria international, who has three years remaining on his current deal.

In recent weeks the likes of AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Everton and West Ham United have all been linked with Arnautovic, who could be available for a fee of around £15m.
