Moussa Sissoko says that he is now "very happy" at Tottenham Hotspur, while acknowledging that he struggled during the early stages of his time at the club.

Midfielder Moussa Sissoko has admitted that he now feels "very happy" at Tottenham Hotspur.

Sissoko was criticised during his first campaign after joining from Newcastle United in 2016, but the Frenchman has now established himself as one of the key men in the middle of the pitch.

The 29-year-old has helped Spurs reach the Champions League final this season, although the player has acknowledged that he needed time to adapt to life at the North London outfit.

At a press conference, Sissoko told reporters: "Since I came here I always tried to give my best. You know the beginning wasn't easy for me but sometimes when you move teams you need time to adapt with new systems and new players.

"This year has been good and I am very happy with that and I can keep going."

Sissoko has featured on 42 occasions in all competitions this season.
