Real Madrid team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Galatasaray

Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash with Galatasaray.

Real Madrid will be looking to make it back-to-back wins over Galatasaray when they welcome the Turkish giants to the Bernabeu in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Zinedine Zidane's team recorded a 1-0 win over the Istanbul side in their last European game on October 22, which saw them move into second position in Group A behind Paris Saint-Germain.

Another victory on Wednesday would place Los Blancos in a strong position in the section, but they will enter the match off the back of a disappointing home draw against Real Betis on Saturday night.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash.

Possible return date: Unknown

Nacho could miss the rest of 2019 after picking up a knee injury during the recent Champions League clash with Club Brugge. The versatile defender's return has been pencilled in for the end of December.

Gareth Bale

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: November 6 (vs. Galatasaray)

Gareth Bale picked up a calf problem during Wales's Euro 2020 qualifier with Croatia last month, which has seen him miss Madrid's last four matches in all competitions. The attacker was also absent from Sunday's recovery training session, meaning that he is unlikely to be available for the European tie.

James Rodriguez

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Muscular
Possible return date: November 6 (vs. Galatasaray)

James Rodriguez has missed Madrid's last two matches with a muscular problem. The attacker was recently allowed to return to Colombia following the birth of his second child, although a muscular issue is expected to see him miss out on the chance to face Galatasaray on Wednesday night.
