How Barcelona could line up against Celta Vigo

Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up in Saturday's La Liga clash with Celta Vigo.

Barcelona will switch their focus back to La Liga this weekend as they prepare to host Celta Vigo.

The Spanish champions were held to a goalless draw by Slavia Prague in the Champions League on Tuesday night, which followed a 3-1 loss at Levante in the league last weekend.

Ernesto Valverde's side are still top of La Liga heading into the next set of fixtures, though, and will fancy their chances of overcoming a Celta side that has struggled this season.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the Catalan giants could line up on home soil.

POSS BAR XI vs. CEL

Out: Luis Suarez (calf)
Doubtful: Jordi Alba (hamstring)

Barca will once again be without the services of Luis Suarez due to a calf problem, while Jordi Alba is expected to miss out with the hamstring injury that he picked up against Slavia Prague during the week.

Valverde otherwise has a full squad to choose from, and it would not be a surprise to see the head coach shuffle his pack with a number of players disappointing during the week.

Arthur is in line to return in the middle of the park, while Sergi Roberto could replace Nelson Semedo at right-back, with Junior Firpo featuring on the opposite side due to Alba's expected absence.

Ansu Fati could also be given the nod in the final third ahead of Ousmane Dembele, although Antoine Griezmann's spot is also under threat as the France international continues to struggle.

Samuel Umtiti is now over his latest knee problem and provides a potential option for change at the back, although Gerard Pique and Clement Lenglet are expected to continue in the two centre-back positions.
