Adam Murray leaves position as Mansfield Town boss

Mansfield Town announce that Adam Murray has left his position as manager of the League Two side.

Adam Murray has decided to leave his managerial position at League Two side Mansfield Town.

The Nottinghamshire-based outfit currently sit in 18th position at the fourth tier of English football after recording just one win since the start of September.

The 35-year-old told the club's official website: "I have been with the club for over 14 years and having discussed it with my management team we have decided that it is time for a change.

"We are immensely proud of what we have achieved, moving both the club forward and achieving its highest league position in over 10 years."

Murray had been in charge of the Stags since December 2014 and he leaves Field Mill having won 32 of his 103 games in the dugout.
