Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could price himself out of a move to Real Madrid, according to a report.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could reportedly price himself out of a move to Real Madrid.

The future of the Frenchman continues to be called into question, with Madrid believed to be preparing a summer move for the 2018 World Cup winner.

However, according to AS, Pogba's huge wage demands have placed the move in jeopardy, with the 26-year-old said to be earning in the region of £15m a year at Old Trafford.

Pogba has scored 16 times and contributed 11 assists in 43 appearances in all competitions for the 20-time English champions this term.

However, the midfielder struggled to make his mark against Barcelona over two legs of their Champions League quarter-final and was also subdued in Sunday's 4-0 loss at Everton.

Madrid are expected to spend big this summer following a disappointing 2018-19 campaign.
