Rumoured Manchester United target Raphael Varane reportedly no longer has any desire to leave Real Madrid after being convinced of their direction under Zinedine Zidane.

Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane is reportedly one of a number of players to have signalled their intent to stay at the club this summer.

Varane's future has grown in uncertainty since the January transfer window, with the likes of Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool among the clubs linked with a summer swoop.

The 26-year-old was initially thought to be open to leaving the Bernabeu, but Marca reports that he has now decided to stay after being convinced of the club's future under Zinedine Zidane.

Madrid are expected to undergo a major squad overhaul this summer, but Zidane will have the final say on who comes and who goes and the Frenchman has no desire to lose his compatriot Varane.

The report goes on to claim that no Madrid players have expressed a desire to leave the club despite their relatively poor campaign, although Gareth Bale is expected to be among the high-profile players forced out.

Varane joined Madrid in 2011 and has gone on to make more than 250 appearances for the first team.
