Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Italy could line up for Sunday's Euro 2020 final against England.

Italy manager Roberto Mancini is expected to name an unchanged XI for Sunday's Euro 2020 final against England at Wembley Stadium.

The Azzurri were forced to endure another gruelling 120 minutes plus a penalty shootout against Spain in the semi-finals, but Mancini has had a full squad at his disposal in training, barring the injured Leonardo Spinazzola.

The left-back - who caught the eye with his performances earlier in the tournament - is unlikely to play again before 2022 after rupturing his Achilles tendon against Belgium in the quarter-finals, so Chelsea's Emerson Palmieri is set to earn an unexpected final start.

Giovanni Di Lorenzo ought to keep his place over Alessandro Florenzi on the opposite side, while 36-year-old Giorgio Chiellini and 34-year-old Leonardo Bonucci will continue to shield Gianluigi Donnarumma ahead of an expected move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Manuel Locatelli's group-stage performances have unsurprisingly led to an intense battle for his signature, but the Sassuolo man has since been demoted to the bench by Marco Verratti, who is second only to Kevin De Bruyne in chances created at Euro 2020.

The PSG man is set to form part of a midfield trio alongside Nicolo Barella - who has one goal and two assists to his name in the tournament - and Jorginho, who was completely unfazed by the occasion while tucking away the winning penalty against Spain.

Federico Chiesa's strike somehow found its way through Spanish shirts and into the far corner during the semi-final at Wembley, and the Juventus man will continue to support Ciro Immobile alongside the little magician Lorenzo Insigne.

Italy possible starting lineup: Donnarumma; Di Lorenzo, Bonucci, Chiellini, Emerson; Jorginho, Barella, Verratti; Chiesa, Immobile, Insigne
