The race is still on for the Premier League title.

With only two games remaining, the race for the Premier League title is still fully on for both Manchester City and Liverpool.

After 38 matches played, Manchester City are leading the table with 92 points and a positive goal difference of +68, while Liverpool are sitting on 91 points with a goal difference of +64.

Chances are if either of the two is to drop points in any of the two remaining games, the other will claim the title for themselves.

It has been a year of surprises in the Premier League for sure, given the fact that Liverpool have only ever lost one match and are still behind Manchester City, who dropped a total of four matches this season.

Given these facts, betting against either of the two this season would have yielded a pretty big loss overall, but at the right time there were great profits to be made. A variety of licensed casino sites these days offer sports betting alongside the classic casino games, such as roulettes, slots, live blackjack and many more.

Taking a look at a number of UK online casinos you can find that not only offer sports betting and a great variety of games, but also great deals for new players to give you extra value for money on your first deposits.

The evolution of online gambling in the 21st century
Looking at a traditional casino we all think of a fancy establishment we visit rarely to have a nice night out. These days almost all online casinos have taken their approach to offer a similar feeling to gamblers from all over the world that prefer to get their adrenaline kick from the comfort of their home. What started with providers for online slots has turned into an empire of online casinos, offering live casino games, sports betting, slot machines and even poker and blackjack. To say that they have adapted to the age of technology is an understatement.

A lot of the live casinos that they offer these days operate from Malta, where finding a job in the gambling industry is easier than ever before.

How sports betting and online casinos became a unity
One of the bigger names in UK Sports betting has always been Ladbrokes. They were also one of the first that combined both sports betting as well as classic casino games into one, convenient service. It is easy to observe a global following of this trend, as almost all the global players in the gambling industry have adapted to the same trend of offering all kinds of gambling their potential customers may desire.

That paired with attractive welcome bonuses that live casinos are not willing to offer make for a great experience, and the cherry on top is the even better average payouts in comparison to live casinos. This leads one to speculate that traditional live casinos will get less and less while the online industry experiences a constant growth.

Traditional gambling hot spots like Las Vegas and Atlantic City should not suffer, as they pair an incredible holiday experience with the excitement of gambling, which has worked ever since the first casino in Las Vegas opened its doors.

What to expect in the near future
Knowing that the industry is constantly evolving, it is interesting to speculate what the future of online casinos hold. We can already see more and more new game concepts such as Wheels of Fortune paired with the classic board game Monopoly fused together to a highly versatile and exciting gambling experience. Online casinos will keep on pushing all their aspects to the limits, offering crazier live games as well as a seemingly endless variety of other options to attract new gamblers to their sites. What will be possible in the future is hard to tell, but at the current pace of technological advancement we can rest assured that gamblers all around the world will not be bored of their choices anytime soon.
