Real Madrid reportedly cool their interest in Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who is yet to resume contract talks at Stamford Bridge.

Real Madrid have reportedly cooled their interest in Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

Earlier this month, it was claimed that contract talks between Chelsea and Courtois had stalled over the player's wage demands, which led to more suggestions of interest from Real Madrid.

The Belgian's agent Christophe Henrotay also recently admitted that he meets "regularly" with Los Blancos to discuss Courtois, who joined the Blues from Genk in 2011, but spent three years on loan at Atletico Madrid before becoming Chelsea's number one.

According to the London Evening Standard, Real Madrid are admirers of the 25-year-old, although the European champions see Manchester United's David de Gea and AC Milan's Gianluigi Donnarumma as their two leading targets if they decide to replace Keylor Navas between the sticks.

Courtois still has two years remaining on his £100,000-a-week deal at Stamford Bridge.
