How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Chelsea

Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up for Sunday's Premier League showdown with Chelsea as Jose Mourinho welcomes his former club to North London.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho will welcome former club Chelsea to North London on Sunday in the final Premier League match before Christmas.

The hosts come into the match having won four of their five top-flight outings since Mourinho's appointment, and another victory this weekend would see them move level on points with their fourth-placed visitors.

Spurs face a Chelsea side in poor form too, with Frank Lampard having lost four of his last five games ahead of the meeting with his former manager.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Spurs could line up for the contest.

Possible TOT XI vs. CHE

Out: Hugo Lloris (elbow), Erik Lamela (thigh), Ben Davies (ankle)
Doubtful: Michel Vorm (calf), Tanguy Ndombele (groin)

Spurs will hand Tanguy Ndombele a late fitness test ahead of this match, with the Frenchman potentially in contention to return after missing the last three games with a groin strain.

Michel Vorm is also back in training, although Paulo Gazzaniga will continue with the gloves, with number one shot-stopper Hugo Lloris still sidelined by injury.

Indeed, Mourinho could name an unchanged side from the one which won at Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend, although Christian Eriksen and Harry Winks are among the players still pushing for a recall.

Dele Alli will be looking to continue his fine recent record against Chelsea, having scored five goals in his last four Premier League meetings with the Blues.

Son Heung-min has been directly involved in 12 goals from his last nine home games across all competitions too, netting seven and creating five more.
