Eden Hazard is anxious to learn whether Antonio Conte will stay on as Chelsea manager for the final year of his contract.

Eden Hazard has admitted that he would like to know whether Antonio Conte will stay on at Chelsea, as his own future is directly linked to whoever is in charge at Stamford Bridge.

More than three weeks after ending their campaign, the Blues are understood to still be deliberating over whether to swing the axe with regards to Conte's position as manager.

The Italian has one year left to run on his deal, which would set Chelsea back £9m in compensation if they severed ties, while other contenders - Maurizio Sarri among them - no longer look as appealing.

With direct title rivals Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal already active in the transfer market, Hazard is anxious to know what step Chelsea bigwigs intend to take.

"Yeah I want to know. I want to know, but I am focused on the World Cup," he told reporters while away on international duty with Belgium.

"If we have something new - manager or players - it is always good to know it because I want players that can [help bring success back to] Chelsea next season. But to be fair the transfer market is not here [in full flow] yet. We will see after.

"At the moment I only focus on the World Cup. We had a bad season with Chelsea. We won the FA Cup at the end - so it was a little bit better but I'm only focused on the World Cup. Then I let the board manage Chelsea the best way that they can."

Belgium are in the same World Cup group as England, but first up are games against Panama and Tunisia over the next fortnight.
