Barcelona are reportedly aiming to sell the naming rights to their famous Camp Nou stadium by 2018.

Barcelona will reportedly rename their famous Camp Nou stadium as part of a lucrative sponsorship deal.

The Catalan giants are said to be in talks with global companies who have expressed interest in lending their name to the ground and investing in its renovation.

Barca stand to net €200m (£179m) from the deal and have appointed sport business leaders Van Wagner to assist with the sale, reports The Mirror.

The sponsorship agreement is part of a £500m renovation of Camp Nou, which will see its capacity boosted to 105,000 by the end of the 2021-22 season and its facilities improved.

Work will commence on the ground next season, but matches are expected to continue there uninterrupted.

Barca chiefs are reportedly hoping to have the stadium sponsor in place by the first half of 2018.
