Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up for their pre-season friendly with Arsenal on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur talisman Harry Kane will once again be absent from Spurs' final pre-season clash against North London rivals Arsenal on Sunday in the Mind Series.

The England captain is yet to report back from his tropical holiday amid talk of a move to Manchester City, and it remains to be seen if quarantine measures will allow him to be ready for the opening day of the new season.

Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo was tight-lipped on the absence of Tanguy Ndombele in his side's 2-2 draw with Chelsea, with the former Lyon man still waiting for his first taste of pre-season action after becoming a father.

With Ndombele's situation still uncertain, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Harry Winks could man the Tottenham engine room, with the latter replacing Oliver Skipp after he was handed the opportunity to impress from the off at Stamford Bridge.

Ryan Sessegnon's hamstring strain all but guarantees another start for Sergio Reguilon at left-back, while Joe Rodon could come into the rearguard in place of Galatasaray-linked Japhet Tanganga alongside Eric Dier.

Cristian Romero could very well be announced as a Tottenham player before Sunday's game kicks off, while his former Atalanta BC teammate Pierluigi Gollini could be handed his first home start in goal, in a North London derby no less.

Tottenham possible starting lineup: Gollini; Doherty, Dier, Rodon, Reguilon; Hojbjerg, Winks; Bergwijn, Alli, Son; Moura
