A number of Arsenal players are reportedly concerned about manager Unai Emery's tactical approach, particularly during their defeat to league leaders Liverpool.

A number of Arsenal players are reportedly concerned about the tactics employed by manager Unai Emery at times this season.

The Gunners have had a mixed start to the campaign but will go into Monday's showdown with Manchester United unbeaten in their last five games and having won each of their last three.

Such a run does not quite tell the full story of struggles during their matches against Tottenham Hotspur, Watford and Aston Villa, though, and The Mirror reports that the squad have particular worries about how Emery approached their game against Liverpool last month.

The Reds' full-backs, who contributed 23 assists between them last season, were afforded space down the wings by Arsenal's narrow diamond - one factor which led to the North London outfit falling to their only defeat of the campaign so far.

The report also claims that Emery still has a poor grasp of the English language and therefore struggles to get his points across to his team, something which has become a running joke amongst the players.

Arsenal nevertheless sit fourth in the Premier League table after six games and will have a chance to avenge that defeat to Liverpool when they travel to Anfield in the EFL Cup fourth round next month.
