Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Leicester City

Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League fixture with Leicester City.

Arsenal head in Saturday's Premier League encounter with Leicester City needing to end a poor run of form in all competitions.

Four draws and one defeat have been recorded in their last six outings, with the latest disappointment coming on Wednesday night as the Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw by Vitoria de Guimaraes in the Europa League.

Given the recent results, Unai Emery finds himself under pressure at the Emirates Stadium ahead of an important contest in England's top flight.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for Arsenal ahead of the fixture in the East Midlands.

Granit Xhaka

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Other
Possible return date: November 9 (vs. Leicester City)

Since his angry outburst towards supporters who cheered his substitution against Crystal Palace, Xhaka has missed three successive games and been stripped of the club captaincy. The Switzerland international is unlikely to be part of the squad this weekend.

Dani Ceballos

Ceballos sustained a thigh problem during the game in Portugal on Wednesday afternoon. While Emery has suggested that the injury is minor, the Spaniard is considered to be a major doubt for this contest.
