Meanwhile, as a result of last weekend's defeat to Leicester City, Palace make the trip to Stamford Bridge sitting in ninth place.

While Chelsea's unconvincing run of home performances may continue this weekend, we feel that the Blues will just about do enough to see off the challenge of Palace. However, given his side's exploits on Tuesday evening, Lampard's use of substitutions could be key.

Burnley vs. West Ham (Saturday, 3pm)

Two out-of-form teams will lock horns at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon as Burnley welcome West Ham United for what is a hugely important Premier League fixture.
Burnley have lost each of their last three in the league to drop into 14th position in the table, while West Ham are 13th having failed to pick up all three points since overcoming Manchester United on September 22.

Both managers will be wary of what type of damage another defeat could cause and therefore it would not be a surprise to see a cagey match. We are really struggling to separate the two teams in this one.

Newcastle vs. Bournemouth (Saturday, 3pm)

Newcastle United will be hoping for a positive result to push them further away from the relegation zone when Bournemouth visit in their next game.
The Cherries had been looking a little off-colour but grabbed a morale-boosting 1-0 win over Manchester United last time out, and will be looking to take the momentum from that game forward as they aim for a top-half finish.

Newcastle are on a solid run, but Bournemouth have yet to lose to a side below them in the table and could have just a little too much quality for the Magpies.

Two teams in desperate need of a Premier League victory face off on Saturday afternoon when Southampton welcome fellow strugglers Everton to St Mary's.
Both sides sit in the bottom four of the table after 11 games, with the Saints in the relegation zone and Everton three points but only one place better off than their weekend hosts.
We say: Southampton 1-2 Everton
This match pits the worst home record against the joint-worst away record in the league, and something surely has to give. Both sides have been poor this season, but Everton have been marginally better and certainly have enough quality in their ranks to beat a Southampton side devoid of confidence. The visitors will also be eager to get a result for Andre Gomes, which might be enough to spur them on to a rare away win at the Saints.

Tottenham vs. Sheffield United (Saturday, 3pm)

Tottenham Hotspur find themselves sitting 11th in the table after 11 games and in desperate need of a Premier League win against Sheffield United on Saturday.
Conversely, the newly-promoted Blades are up into sixth in the league after a four-game unbeaten run in which they have conceded just once.
We say: Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 Sheffield United
With Tottenham struggling in the league and Sheffield United in fine form, Wilder's side may succeed in frustrating Spurs and grinding out a goalless draw as they so nearly did against Liverpool earlier this season.

Leicester vs. Arsenal (Saturday, 5.30pm)

While this contest could prove to be closer than many people believe, Leicester should have the confidence to grind out three more important points. The Foxes have a knack of netting late goals - something which does not play into Arsenal's favour at this present time.

Man Utd vs. Brighton (Sunday, 2pm)

Manchester United welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Old Trafford with both sides looking for a win heading into the international break.
The Red Devils currently sit 10th in the Premier League table, two points and two places behind Graham Potter's Seagulls.

Although they are still not the complete package, United do seem to be finding their groove and they should have enough to edge another tight game against the south coast club.

Liverpool vs. Man City (Sunday, 4.30pm)

The biggest game of the Premier League season so far takes place at Anfield on Sunday afternoon when leaders Liverpool welcome champions and closest title challengers Manchester City to Merseyside.
Six points separate the two sides at the top of the table after 11 games, with Liverpool having dropped only two from a possible 33 so far this term and Man City struggling to keep pace.
We say: Liverpool 2-1 Man City
Premier League matches do not get much bigger than this: European champions versus English champions, first versus second and two of the best teams the competition has ever seen facing off.
It promises to be a fascinating contest and if any team can end Liverpool's long unbeaten run at Anfield then it is this Man City side, who will at least be confident of prolonging the hosts' wait for a clean sheet. However, the Reds have continually found a way to get the job done this season, and we are backing them to do it again on Sunday.
