Alfreton Town sign former Hull City goalkeeper Matt Duke

Goalkeeper Matt Duke, who spent seven years at Hull City between 2004 and 2011, signs a one-year deal with National League North side Alfreton Town.

Alfreton Town have completed the signing of former Hull City goalkeeper Matt Duke.

Duke, who spent seven years at the Tigers between 2004 and 2011, was released by Northampton Town at the end of the last campaign.

However, the 38-year-old, who also played for Bradford City during their memorable run to the League Cup final in 2013, has found a new club after penning a one-year contract at the National League North team.

Duke made his debut in Alfreton's 1-1 draw with Brackley Town on Saturday afternoon.
