Gordon Ramsay reportedly signs a deal to host new food-based reality series FFS for the BBC.

Gordon Ramsay has reportedly agreed a deal to host a new food-based series for the BBC called FFS.

The show's name - short for 'Future Food Stars' - is an Apprentice-style format that will see 12 entrepreneurs compete for a big-money investment in the food industry.

"The Beeb will start filming in the summer. It was meant to get under way last year but was cancelled due to the pandemic," a source told The Sun.

"Now the hospitality industry is getting back on its feet after taking such a battering, there's a real sense of hope and opportunity out there, which is what this primetime show is all about."

Earlier this year Ramsay hosted his first primetime gameshow, Gordon Ramsay's Bank Balance, for the BBC; the notoriously foul-mouthed chef also appears on ITV's Gordon, Gino & Fred travelogue series and presents Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted for National Geographic, while in the US he hosts Hell's Kitchen, MasterChef and 24 Hours To Hell & Back.
