Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane, who continues to be linked with Manchester City and Manchester United, says that he wants "to be winning the biggest prizes" in the game.

Harry Kane has said that he wants "to be winning the biggest prizes" in the game amid suggestions that he could leave Tottenham Hotspur during this summer's transfer window.

The England captain has again enjoyed an impressive season for Spurs on a personal level, scoring 31 goals and registering 16 assists in 44 appearances in all competitions.

The North London club will again end the campaign without a trophy, though, having lost the EFL Cup final to Manchester City last weekend.

Kane has said that he will always welcome personal awards but has admitted that he is desperate to be a part of a team that wins the biggest trophies in the game.

"Individual awards are great, they are fantastic achievements. When I look back at the end of my career, I will go over it and take in a little bit more," said Kane after being named the Premier League Player of the Year at the London Football Awards.

"The goal right now as a player is to win team trophies. As much as this [award] is great, I want to be winning the biggest prizes that there is to offer as a team and we are not quite doing that. It is one of those [situations], it is bittersweet. I would rather be winning team trophies and this award. It is what it is."

Both Manchester United and Man City are said to be keen on signing Kane this summer, but the 27-year-old still has more than three years left to run on his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
