An Australian prankster tricks Tiger King's Carole Baskin into recording a video message for Rolf Harris and "best friend" Jimmy Savile.

Tiger King star Carole Baskin has been fooled into a recording a video message for Rolf Harris and his "best friend" Jimmy Savile.

The 59-year-old is a member of the celebrity video website Cameo and charges users $200 (£165) to record a short video message of their choosing.

Australian prankster Tom Armstrong managed to get Baskin to film a short clip referencing both Harris - jailed in 2014 for historic sexual assault of underage girls - and the late entertainer Savile, who was discovered to be one of the UK's most notorious sexual predators ever.

"Hey you cool cats and kittens, it's Carole Baskin from Big Cat Rescue," she says in the message.

"Hi Rolf Harris. All your kids wanted to get together and tell you that you have really touched them and they love that all you have done for them.

"I hear there are a lot of great stories about you and your best friend Jimmy Savile. Can't wait to hear those!

"Happy birthday Rolf!"

After the video went viral, Baskin issued a statement saying: "I am amazed at the lengths (and expense) people will go to in order to trash my reputation. Of course, I have never heard of Rolf Harris, or Jimmy Savile and would not have done the Cameo had I known."

Armstrong previously tricked 7th Heaven actress Beverley Mitchell into recording a message for notorious Aussie serial killer Ivan Milat, thanking him for "helping out the backpacker gang".
