Bath wing Semesa Rokoduguni has been called up to the England squad as cover for the suspended Chris Ashton.

Ashton has been suspended for 10 weeks for an alleged eye gouging incident during last weekend's European Rugby Champions Cup match between Saracens and Ulster, ruling him out for the duration of the upcoming Six Nations.

Rokoduguni, 28, has only one cap to his name but has impressed with his strike rate of 22 tries in 56 appearances for Bath and had been tipped to feature in Stuart Lancaster's World Cup squad last year.

Saracens are currently deciding whether to appeal the ban.
