David Beckham shares photos of his 40th birthday bash in Morocco, where numerous stars, including the Spice Girls, turned up to celebrate.

David Beckham gave fans a glimpse of his lavish 40th birthday party in Morocco over the weekend by posting photos from the party on Instagram.

The former England footballer is reported to have spent around £250,000 on the event, which involved A-list stars, including Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria.

Beckham's wife Victoria also invited her former Spice Girls members Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell to the party, which was held at the luxury Amanjena resort near Marrakesh.

The ex-Manchester United star joined Instagram on the day of his 40th milestone and decided to upload photos of himself with family and friends during the party.

Great to see these shy and retiring ladies. Never a dull moment.
