Liverpool may consider switching kit supplier from 2020 as they hope to bring in more revenue, according to a report.

Liverpool are reportedly holding out for a record-breaking kit deal when it comes to renegotiation their agreement with New Balance.

The Reds bring in around £45m per season from their existing kit supplier, which is £30m less than rivals Manchester United command from Adidas.

According to the Liverpool Echo, however, the Merseyside outfit will cash in on their recent success by demanding a similar sum to United when their arrangement with New Balance expires at the end of next season.

Managing director Billy Horgan is said to be seeking a record deal, and switching supplier to Adidas, Nike or Puma from 2020 has not yet been ruled out.

Liverpool have worn New Balance shirts since the start of the 2015-16 campaign.
