Tottenham Hotspur reportedly revive their interest in Barcelona winger Malcom as they look for attacking reinforcements following an injury to Harry Kane.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a loan bid for Barcelona winger Malcom in an attempt to ease their attacking concerns.

Spurs face a striker shortage for the remainder of January, with Harry Kane having picked up an ankle injury during Sunday's defeat to Manchester United and Son Heung-min having now joined up with South Korea at the Asian Cup.

The full extent of Kane's injury is as yet unknown, but the club fear that he may have damaged his ligaments, ruling him out of action for up to a month.

Should that be the case then Mauricio Pochettino would be left with only Lucas Moura and Fernando Llorente as possible options up front, having reportedly ruled out the possibility of bringing Vincent Janssen back into his plans.

Llorente had been linked with a move away from the club this month, but the Spaniard has now been taken off the market and the Daily Star claims that Spurs are looking at bringing in reinforcements.

Out-of-favour Barcelona winger Malcom has been identified as a possible target, with Tottenham having been linked with the Brazilian during the summer before his switch to Camp Nou.

Barcelona are willing to let Malcom leave just months after signing him for £36.5m and are understood to have offered him as part of a bid for Chelsea winger Willian last week.

Spurs are now considering a loan deal until the end of the season and could firm up their interest depending on the severity of Kane's injury.
