Norwich City are reportedly showing interest in Bournemouth midfielder Philip Billing, as the Canaries look to replace Emiliano Buendia.

Norwich City have reportedly set their sights on signing Bournemouth midfielder Philip Billing, after losing Emiliano Buendia to Aston Villa.

The 25-year-old was an important attacking threat for the Cherries last season as he scored eight goals and provided four assists in 34 Championship appearances.

However, Billing could not help his side bounce back to the Premier League, which has increased the chances of the Denmark midfielder leaving the Vitality Stadium this summer.

According to The Mirror, Canaries boss Daniel Farke is a big admirer of Billing, who is valued at £15m by Bournemouth - less than half of the sum that Norwich received for Buendia.

The East-Anglian club were paid £33m by Villa for the Argentine playmaker, and Norwich will be looking to re-invest some of that money to help the club secure Premier League survival next season, a task they have not achieved since the 2012-13 campaign.

Billing arrived on the South Coast in 2019 and has gone on to score 11 goals in 78 appearances for Bournemouth.
