Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba's relationship with head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is 'slowly fading', according to a report.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba's relationship with head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly 'slowly fading', with the Frenchman said to be determined to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Pogba has been one of United's star performers since Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho as head coach in December.

Indeed, the 26-year-old has now contributed 14 goals and 11 assists in 40 appearances for the Red Devils this term.

Talk of a potential summer switch to Real Madrid or Barcelona is refusing to go away, though, with Pogba believed to be determined to force a move to Spain.

Solskjaer recently insisted that United would keep hold of the midfielder this summer, but according to Le Parisien, the relationship between the two has deteriorated, which could lead to an exit.

Pogba - who played the full 90 minutes as United lost 1-0 to Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday night - has a contract at Old Trafford until the summer of 2021, with the option of a further year.
