Arsenal and Manchester United could move for Barcelona centre-back Samuel Umtiti this summer, according to a report.

Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly both considering making offers for Barcelona centre-back Samuel Umtiti during this summer's transfer window.

The Frenchman is said to be available for purchase in the current market, with the Catalan giants desperately attempting to reduce their wage budget.

Umtiti is believed to have rejected the chance to terminate his deal at Camp Nou in exchange for a compensation package, but the defender could still be on the move this summer.

Arsenal and Man United are both in the market for new centre-backs ahead of next season, and according to El Gol Digital, the pair are currently weighing up offers.

Umtiti has struggled with injuries over the last three seasons but was a vital player for Barcelona during his first two years with the Catalan giants.

The 27-year-old has also been capped on 31 occasions by France and was a part of the side that won the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
