Bayern Munich reportedly remain determined to complete the signing of Leroy Sane from Manchester City before the end of the month.

Bayern Munich have reportedly not given up on their pursuit of Leroy Sane and want to sign the Manchester City forward this month.

The Bundesliga champions have been in talks with City regarding Sane throughout the summer after Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery both left the club in May.

A severe ACL injury sustained at the start of August, coupled with Bayern's capture of Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, appeared to have ended any prospect of a deal happening this month.

However, according to Bild, Bayern are continuing to push for Sane's signature before the European transfer window deadline.

Despite reports suggesting that Bayern would launch another bid next year, the club are said to willing to oversee Sane's rehabilitation process.

The 23-year-old, whose current deal expires in 2021, has been locked in negotiations with City over a new contract for the past 12 months.
