Sports Mole looks at how England could line up for Wednesday's Euro 2020 warm-up game against Austria at the Riverside Stadium.

Gareth Southgate's options could be significantly limited for England's opening Euro 2020 warm-up game against Austria on Wednesday, due to the involvement of three English clubs in the finals of the Champions League and Europa League.

The England boss is due to trim his 33-man squad down to 26 on Tuesday and is likely to want to give Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City players a bit of time off, having only just brought their domestic campaigns to a close.

That could leave him without 12 of his 26-man squad, although the Manchester United players have had more time off than the Champions League finalists, while almost all of the players should be available if needed.

Harry Maguire remains sidelined with ankle ligament damage having missed the Europa League final, and the Manchester United man faces a race against time to prove his fitness ahead of the Euros.

Jordan Henderson has also been sidelined of late, but he was on the bench for Liverpool's last game of the season and so should be in line for his first appearance since February on Wednesday.

Kalvin Phillips is unlikely to be risked having also ended the season with an injury, giving Declan Rice the opportunity to nail down a starting spot in Southgate's side.

The likes of Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho will also be keen to show what they can do given the high level of competition for places up front.

Should they survive Tuesday's trimming of the squad then Sam Johnstone, Aaron Ramsdale, Ben Godfrey and Ben White will all hope to win their first caps for England.

England possible starting lineup: Pickford; Trippier, Coady, Mings, Shaw; Henderson, Rice, Bellingham; Sancho, Kane, Grealish
