Doctor Alex posts emotional tribute on anniversary of brother's death
Doctor Alex George posts a moving tribute to his younger brother Llyr on the one-year anniversary of his death.

Doctor Alex George has shared a moving tribute to his younger brother Llyr on social media one year on from his death.

The 19-year-old tragically took his own life last summer, just weeks before he was due to begin medical school.

Alex has since gone on to become a staunch advocate for education of mental health issues among younger age groups and in February was appointed by Boris Johnson as the government's Youth Mental Health Ambassador.

Posting a picture of him with Llyr and his parents on Instagram this morning, Alex wrote: "I can't believe it's been a year. Some days I really can't accept or understand that you are not here. We miss you so much Llŷr.

"You give me so much strength, even when times are tough and it would be easy to give up.

"Mum, Dad and Elliott are doing ok, they miss you so much too. I would do anything to go out for a spin in the car with you again. Love you x"
