Former footballer Kieron Dyer and singer Alexandra Burke are among the latest rumoured names to sign up for the new series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Former Newcastle United midfielder Kieron Dyer and The X Factor winner Alexandra Burke have reportedly signed up for the new series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

The show, which sees Ant Middleton put a group of celebs through their paces in an SAS-style training course, is due to be filmed in the coming weeks for broadcast on Channel 4 early next year.

Ulrika Jonsson, Vicky Pattison, Jake Quickenden and James Cracknell have previously joined the lineup for the next series and according to The Sun, they will be joined by Dyer and Burke, as well as TV presenter Ore Oduba, Loose Women panellist Saira Khan and former Love Island star Wes Nelson.

"Channel 4 is making sure all of the shows it airs reflect modern Britain and SAS is no different," a source told the newspaper.

"They think they've cast one of the best series of SAS yet, as all the names are impressive and there is a real mix of characters.

"Kieron, Jake, Wes and James are all very physically fit but, mentally, you have stars like Vicky who is a tough cookie and won't crack easily under pressure.

"They're all currently in isolation in a hotel to ensure they're totally Covid-safe before filming commences."

The new series will be the first without Middleton's right-hand man Ollie Ollerton, who has been axed to bring in more diverse trainers.
