Andi Peters appears to dismiss Piers Morgan following his exit from Good Morning Britain last week.

Breakfast TV veteran Andi Peters appeared to dismiss Piers Morgan during his competitions segment on Good Morning Britain today.

Morgan dramatically quit the show last week after more than five years as co-host to Susanna Reid following criticism of his fierce disbelieving reaction to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Many of Morgan's GMB colleagues have come forward to pay tribute to him following his exit, although Peters has not mentioned him on social media since and today appeared to wipe him from the show's history.

Speaking to Reid and stand-in presenter Ben Shephard, Peters said: "Ben and Susanna, I have a question for you so get your thinking caps on - I have only ever given away how many Ranger Rovers [as competition prizes] in the past?

"Since we all started here in 2014, and we're all still here now... I've only ever given away how many Range Rovers in the past? Get thinking."

Reid's eyes notably widened at the comment.

Good Morning Britain continues weekdays from 6am on ITV.
