A report claims that Maurizio Sarri has taken a laid-back approach on what his players eat at the club's training ground, in contrast to predecessor Antonio Conte.

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has reportedly relaxed the rules introduced by predecessor Antonio Conte on what his players can and cannot eat.

The 59-year-old has been in the job for a month after finally replacing Conte at the Stamford Bridge helm on on July 14, ending weeks of speculation.

One of the biggest changes made by the Italian off the field in that time is the squad's diet, with The Telegraph reporting that a wider choice of food is now on offer at the club's training ground, as well as in the hotels the players stay in ahead of away games.

Sarri is also said to have put an end to the stipulation that players had to stay together in a hotel the night before home matches, instead giving them more freedom to choose what they would like to do.

The same report indicates that the ex-Napoli boss is working towards cutting down his first-team playing squad over the next fortnight, potentially spelling the end for Tammy Abraham and Charly Musonda.
