Real Madrid transfer roundup: Los Blancos consider Son Heung-min move, Carlo Ancelotti approves Raheem Sterling deal

Sports Mole rounds up the latest Real Madrid transfer news, including possible moves for Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-min and Manchester City's Raheem Sterling.

Real Madrid have already secured deals for Aurelien Tchouameni and Antonio Rudiger this summer, with the La Liga and European champions improving their squad with two impressive additions.

Los Blancos president Florentino Perez has said that the club are not planning any further signings, but the capital giants continue to be linked with a number of players.

Here, Sports Mole provides a transfer roundup of the biggest stories involving Real Madrid, who will open their 2022-23 La Liga campaign against Almeria on August 14.

Real Madrid are reportedly considering making a summer move for Tottenham Hotspur attacker Son Heung-min.

The 29-year-old was in impressive form for Spurs during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 24 goals and registering 10 assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.

Son still has more than three years left to run on his contract at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but according to journalist Rudy Galetti, Real Madrid are interested in signing him in the current market.

The report claims that Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti is determined to improve his attacking options for next term, and Son is viewed as a leading target for the club.

The South Korea international scored 23 goals and registered nine assists in 35 Premier League appearances last term, finishing level at the top of the scoring charts with Mohamed Salah.

Real Madrid boss Ancelotti has reportedly given the club the green light to move for Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling during this summer's transfer window.

The 27-year-old is said to be considering a move away from the Citizens in the current market, with Barcelona, AC Milan and Chelsea all said to be interested in his services.

Real Madrid have also been linked with the England international, as the La Liga and European champions have allowed Gareth Bale and Isco to leave on free transfers this summer.

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Ancelotti has approved a move for Sterling, with the Italian viewing him as the ideal player to boost his attacking options for next term.

The former Queens Park Rangers youngster made 47 appearances in all competitions for Pep Guardiola's side last season, contributing 17 goals and nine assists in the process.

Real Madrid are reportedly keen to explore a summer deal for Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella.

Los Blancos have boosted their midfield with the signing of Tchouameni from Monaco, but there has recently been speculation surrounding the future of Toni Kroos.

According to Calciomercato, Barella has admirers at Bernabeu, and the Spanish champions are preparing to offer Dani Ceballos and Nacho to Inter in exchange for the Italy international.

The Serie A giants are in a strong position to keep hold of Barella, though, as he has a contract at San Siro until June 2026.

The midfielder was a key player for Inter during the 2021-22 campaign, making 48 appearances in all competitions, contributing four goals and 13 assists in the process.
