How Real Madrid could line up against Eibar

Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Saturday's La Liga clash with Eibar.

Real Madrid will be looking for their fifth straight win in all competitions when they travel to Eibar in La Liga on Saturday afternoon.

Los Blancos have been victorious in all four of their matches under the leadership of interim head coach Santiago Solari, including back-to-back league successes over Real Valladolid and Celta Vigo.

Despite suffering four league defeats in their 12 fixtures this term, Madrid are only four points off division leaders Barcelona as things stand, and the Catalan giants could drop points against Atletico Madrid on Saturday night.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at how an improving Madrid could line up in Saturday's early start.

POSS RM XI vs. EIBAR

Out: Nacho (knee), Casemiro (ankle), Sergio Reguilon (muscle)
Doubtful: Dani Carvajal (calf), Mariano Diaz (muscle)

Madrid's defensive problems worsened in their 4-2 win over Celta Vigo before the international break, with Nacho, Casemiro and Sergio Reguilon all picking up injuries which rule them out of this game.

There is expected to be some good news on the defensive front, however, with Dani Carvajal, Raphael Varane and Marcelo all in line to return to the XI.

Varane recently recovered from a muscular problem to feature for France during the international break, while full-backs Carvajal and Marcelo have returned to training following calf and hamstring injuries respectively.

Dani Ceballos could take Casemiro's position in the middle of midfield, with Toni Kroos and Luka Modric also starting.

Further forward, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema will take two of the three positions, with Lucas Vazquez, Isco and Marco Asensio battling for the final spot in attack.
