A report claims that Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer warned his players they cannot afford to get too carried away following their win over Manchester City.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly delivered a telling warning to his Manchester United players following Sunday's derby victory over Manchester City.

The Red Devils claimed bragging rights with a 2-0 win at Old Trafford and extended their unbeaten run to 10 matches in all competitions.

However, The Metro reports that Solskjaer is not resting on his laurels and was quick to remind his squad of their objectives.

Solskjaer is said to have put a halt to the dressing-room celebrations, knowing that his players must sustain the same level of performances over the remaining two months of the season.

United are fifth in the Premier League and remain in contention to win the Europa League and FA Cup.

Next up for Solskjaer's men is a Europa League last-16 tie with LASK Linz in Austria on Thursday.
