Sunday's Premier League predictions including Manchester United vs. Tottenham

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's Premier League matches including Manchester United vs. Tottenham Hotspur.

Leicester vs. West Ham (Sunday, 12.00pm)

Early Premier League leaders Leicester City will look to continue their 100% start to the season when they welcome West Ham United to the King Power Stadium on Sunday.

Both sides go into the match off the back of big wins last weekend, when Leicester thumped Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium and West Ham shocked Wolverhampton Wanderers.

We say: Leicester City 3-1 West Ham United

West Ham have not kept back-to-back clean sheets in the Premier League since September 2019, and we cannot see them pulling off that achievement against the league's highest scorers this weekend.

The Hammers should be full of confidence after their win last week, but Leicester are flying even higher at the moment and we expect their perfect start to continue.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Southampton vs. West Brom (Sunday, 12.00pm)

Southampton welcome West Bromwich Albion to St Mary's on Sunday afternoon looking to build on their narrow victory at Burnley last weekend.

Meanwhile, the Baggies travel to the South Coast as one of four clubs who are still looking for their first win in the Premier League this season.

We say: Southampton 2-1 West Bromwich Albion

West Brom showed against Chelsea that they are beginning to adapt to life back in the Premier League. However, it remains to be seen how they will react to letting slip such a wide advantage, leading us to predict a narrow victory for the Saints this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Arsenal vs. Sheff Utd (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Sheffield United are still searching for their first point and first goal of the Premier League season as they prepare to face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The Blades are firmly rooted in the relegation zone after three games and will be underdogs in North London against an Arsenal side that has made an encouraging start to the campaign.

We say: Arsenal 2-0 Sheffield United

Arsenal failed to beat Sheffield United home or away in the league last season, although even at this early stage of the new campaign the dynamics look different this time around.

Sheffield United do not seem to be able to buy a goal at the moment, yet alone a point or a win, so we expect Arsenal to leave the Blades still searching for a first away win over the Gunners since 1971.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Wolves vs. Fulham (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Wolverhampton Wanderers welcome Fulham to Molineux on Sunday afternoon looking to bounce back from suffering three successive defeats in all competitions.

The Cottagers travel to the West Midlands having already suffered 3-0 defeats to Aston Villa and Brentford this week, piling the pressure on manager Scott Parker.

We say: Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 Fulham

Despite Fulham being regarded as the clear underdogs for this match, they are squaring off against opponents who generally perform below their best when having to dictate play. Nevertheless, we cannot ignore Fulham's issues at the back, and we fancy Wolves to secure a hard-fought win on Sunday.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Man Utd vs. Spurs (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho pictured on September 27, 2020© Reuters

Jose Mourinho returns to Old Trafford on Sunday when his Tottenham Hotspur side face Manchester United in the Premier League.

United go into the game off the back of successive wins over Brighton & Hove Albion over the past week, while Spurs have so far coped well with a particularly relentless schedule.

We say: Manchester United 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur

This really is a match which could go either way, but there are still huge question marks over Manchester United's defence and Spurs, even if Son misses out, have the firepower to exploit them.

The hosts have scored in 15 successive Premier League matches, the longest current run in the division, so we expect them to get on the board against a Spurs defence which is by no means watertight itself.

However, on the basis of what we have seen so far this season we expect Spurs to pick up a rare Old Trafford triumph on Sunday.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Aston Villa vs. Liverpool (Sunday, 7.15pm)

Just four teams head into gameweek four with perfect Premier League records still intact, and at least one of those will be lost when Aston Villa host champions Liverpool at Villa Park.

Dean Smith's side have won two from two so far, while Liverpool have won their opening three outings of their first title defence for 30 years.

We say: Aston Villa 1-2 Liverpool

No fixture in Premier League history has produced more away wins than this one, and we can see another one being added to that tally here.

Villa deserve huge credit for the work they have done on and off the field so far this season, but Liverpool are a big step up from what they have faced to date and the ease with which they have beaten Chelsea and Arsenal suggests that they will make it four from four here.

The Reds have registered a whopping 61 shots in their three league games so far - already 17 more than any other side - and, while Villa are yet to concede a goal this season, that firepower may be too much for the hosts to live with.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.
