Manchester City close in on Servette youngster Lorenzo Gonzalez?

Manchester City have beaten rivals Manchester United to the signing of Servette teenager Lorenzo Gonzalez, according to a report.

Manchester City are reportedly close to signing Servette teenager Lorenzo Gonzalez.

The 16-year-old, who has been compared to Man City striker Sergio Aguero, was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United towards the end of 2015.

However, according to ESPN, Man City have won the race for the Swiss youngster, who will officially make the move to the Etihad in this summer's transfer window.

Gonzalez, who has represented Switzerland at both Under-15 and Under-16 level, is a product of the Servette youth system.
