While every player at Euro 2020 will want to win the tournament with their respective nations, there will be some who will be craving a transfer to a bigger club.

With the 24 squads for Euro 2020 having been confirmed on Monday, players have either been left elated or deflated as their nations prepare for the delayed major tournament. However, while the majority of players will be fully focused on performing for their teams, there will be a minority who want to earn a move to a bigger club with their performances over the coming weeks. Punters are spoilt for choice when it comes to betting sites in the UK and that is already the case regarding Sporting Lisbon defender Nuno Mendes.

Despite not being due to turn 19 years of age until later this month, the left-sided player has already helped his side to a surprise league crown, starting all but five of their 34 fixtures. Such is the potential of the teenager that Portugal boss Fernando Santos has selected him for Euro 2020, and the prospect's stock will only rise if trust is placed in him during the group stages and beyond. Mendes already has numerous high-profile clubs monitoring his development with the view of making a formal approach after the tournament. Having four years remaining on his contract is a potential stumbling block, but Sporting may be prepared to consider any offers North of £30m.

If clubs want better value for money in the current market, they could realistically turn their attention to Jonas Wind. The forward has already contributed 35 goals and 19 assists in 86 appearances for Copenhagen, giving Denmark boss Kasper Hjulmand every reason to select him ahead of his more experienced compatriots. At 22 years of age, there is no rush for Wind to link up with a bigger club, but he possesses all of the attributes required to make an impact in one of European football's top leagues.

A transfer which has gone completely under the radar in recent months is Marek Hamsik's switch to Swedish side IFK Goteborg. The Slovakia legend was left with limited opportunities to earn some game time ahead of representing his country later this month, leading to him taking advantage of Sweden's transfer window being open in March. However, his short-term contract is due to expire in August, and the 33-year-old will definitely view the international stage as a shop window. Even though Hamsik turns 34 years of age in July, clubs all over Europe will be in the running for his signature, providing that he is reasonable regarding his wages. Having been prepared to leave China for Scandinavia, it appears that the playmaker will do whatever is required to try to replicate his days with Napoli.
