Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang makes his Barcelona debut as a second-half substitute in Sunday's 4-2 win over Atletico Madrid.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made his Barcelona debut as a second-half substitute in Sunday's 4-2 win over La Liga champions Atletico Madrid at Camp Nou.

The Gabon international completed a move to the Catalan giants on transfer deadline day, with Arsenal allowing the attacker to leave following a breakdown in his relationship with the Premier League outfit.

Aubameyang was immediately brought into the squad for the match with Atletico and debuted off the bench, replacing fellow January signing Adama Traore in the 61st minute of the contest.

Jordi Alba, Gavi, Ronald Araujo and Dani Alves scored the goals for Xavi's side, while Atletico registered at Camp Nou through Yannick Carrasco and Luis Suarez.

All four of Barcelona's mid-season arrivals featured on Sunday, with Ferran Torres also playing the full 90 minutes, operating as the centre-forward for the home side.

Aubameyang will be bidding to make his full debut for Barcelona, who have moved into fourth spot in the table, when the club continue their La Liga campaign away to Catalan rivals Espanyol on February 13.
