West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis admits that he is unsure whether Saido Berahino will sign a new contract at The Hawthorns.

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis had admitted that he is unsure whether Saido Berahino will sign a new contract at The Hawthorns.

The England Under-21 international has had a difficult season with the Baggies after failing to secure a move to Tottenham Hotspur in last summer's transfer window.

The striker will be out of contract at West Brom next summer, and Pulis is 'hopeful' rather than confident that the 22-year-old will return from the summer break ready to sign a new deal.

"Hopefully he comes back in the summer and realises what a God-given talent he has, and who knows he might even sign a new contract," Pulis told reporters.

Berahino has scored seven times in 32 appearances for West Brom this season.
