Chelsea have extended their unbeaten record to 18 matches in all competitions courtesy of a goalless draw against Everton on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues had been hoping to move to the top of the Premier League table ahead of the Manchester derby, but Maurizio Sarri's side squandered a number of opportunities at Stamford Bridge.

Everton played their part in a lively affair, and Marco Silva will be delighted with a share of a spoils from a ground where the Toffees have not won in the league since 1994.

Find out how all of the action unfolded in West London courtesy of Sports Mole's minute-by-minute updates below.

1.15pmHello and welcome to Sports Mole's live coverage of the match in the Premier League between Chelsea and Everton. Both sides head into the fixture in good form, but Chelsea have the opportunity to move to the top of the table ahead of the Manchester derby later today.

1.17pmLATEST! The game between Liverpool and Fulham is just about to reach the hour mark with the home side holding a 2-0 advantage. Click here to follow our coverage of that fixture.

1.19pmLet's take a look at the two teams, starting with who Maurizio Sarri has selected in his first XI.

1.21pmCHELSEA XI: Arrizabalaga; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso; Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic; Willian, Morata, Hazard

CHELSEA SUBSTITUTES: Caballero, Christensen, Zappacosta, Fabregas, Barkley, Pedro, Giroud

1.23pmEVERTON XI: Pickford; Coleman, Keane, Mina, Digne; Gueye, Gomes; Walcott, Sigurdsson, Bernard; Richarlison

EVERTON SUBSTITUTES: Stekelenburg, Baines, Jagielka, Davies, Lookman, Calvert-Lewin, Tosun

1.25pmChelsea make just the two changes to the team which started the 3-1 victory against Crystal Palace last weekend. The most notable inclusion is that of Eden Hazard, who got through an hour against BATE Borisov in midweek after a back injury.

1.27pmPedro has made way for Hazard, while Mateo Kovacic comes into the team as a replacement for Ross Barkley. The Englishman would have been desperate to start against his former club but after he played 90 minutes in Belarus on Thursday, it was always going to be unlikely that he would feature in the first XI this afternoon.

1.29pmCesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, David Luiz, Marcos Alonso, N'Golo Kante and Alvaro Morata were all rested for the Europa League encounter, so it is no surprise that those half-a-dozen players are named in the starting lineup today.

1.31pmCesc Fabregas has recovered from illness to be able to feature on the substitutes' bench. However, Gary Cahill and Ruben Loftus-Cheek both miss out. The latter has been struggling with a back problem.

1.33pmAs for Everton, Marco Silva is able to start Richarlison in attack. The Brazilian had been a fitness doubt after only playing a small part in training during the back end of this week.

1.35pmThe Portuguese has opted to make just the one alteration to his starting lineup and it is an enforced one. Kurt Zouma is unable to face his parent club, and that has given Yerry Mina the chance to make his debut after signing from Barcelona in the summer.

1.37pmThe rest of the team is pretty much as expected. Ademola Lookman has been pushing for a rare start on the left flank, but Silva has instead decided to keep faith with Bernard. Andre Gomes also remains in the centre of midfield.

1.39pmLookman is an option for Silva off the bench, as is Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun. Phil Jagielka is also back in contention, with the centre-back having not made an appearance in the Premier League since the opening day of the season.

1.41pmToday is Remembrance Sunday and Chelsea have today been welcomed to Stamford Bridge by members of the Armed Forces.

1.43pmChelsea head into this game having not suffered defeat in their last 12 matches at Stamford Bridge, with the most recent setback coming against Tottenham Hotspur on April 1.

1.45pmSarri will hope that the run of form can be extended. It would mean that the Italian becomes the first-ever boss to avoid defeat in his first 12 games in the Premier League.

1.47pmChelsea are looking to edge nearer to their longest unbeaten record at the start of a season. That currently stands at 14 fixtures during the 2014-15 campaign.

1.49pmMorata is back in the team this afternoon and it is difficult to dispute the Spaniard's place in the side. The 26-year-old has scored four times in his last four outings.

1.51pmSarri has rotated his squad in the Europa League but that has not been the case in the Premier League. Just 14 players have started games in the top flight this season, with a further five squad members featuring for less than 100 minutes off the bench.

1.53pmRESULT! The full-time whistle has gone at Anfield and Liverpool have comfortably held on to register a 2-0 victory over Fulham. Click here to read our on-the-whistle match report from that match.

1.55pmThat win for Liverpool has taken the Merseyside giants to the top of the Premier League table, but that could all change later this afternoon.

Fulham remain bottom and three points adrift of safety. The Cottagers need to improve and fast.

1.57pmEverton head into this game having recorded 12 points from their last five outings in the Premier League. The only defeat came by a 2-1 scoreline at Old Trafford.

1.59pmHowever, the Toffees have a terrible record in London, with just one win coming from their last 16 visits!

2.01pmEverton have also lost 11 of their last 13 matches on a Sunday, which is an astonishing stat. Still, I guess it lifts the pressure ever so slightly heading into this encounter...

2.03pmPREDICTION! Some of Chelsea's big guns would have been grateful for a rest in midweek, and that could benefit the Blues heading into this match. Everton are capable of scoring goals against any team in the top flight, but we feel that Chelsea's extra quality in attack will prove to be the difference. Chelsea to prevail by a 3-1 scoreline.

2.05pmHEAD TO HEAD! Sunday's meeting will represent the 180th competitive encounter between the two clubs, with Chelsea claiming 72 victories and Everton prevailing on 54 occasions.

2.07pmChelsea have been the better side in recent meetings, with the West Londoners winning seven times in 11 matches since the start of 2014.

2.10pmEverton do not possess a great record at Stamford Bridge, with the Toffees not gaining success at the ground since 1994!

2.11pmIt's time for the two teams to start making their way out at Stamford Bridge. You can sense the anticipation in the crowd with Chelsea having the chance to go top, but they will have to perform well to get the better of Silva's men.

2.13pmThe two teams will now pay their respects on the 100th year anniversary since the end of World War 1.

2.15pmA reminder of the two starting lineups...

CHELSEA XI: Arrizabalaga; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso; Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic; Willian, Morata, Hazard

EVERTON XI: Pickford; Coleman, Keane, Mina, Digne; Gueye, Gomes; Walcott, Sigurdsson, Bernard; Richarlison

1 minKICKOFF:  Everton get us underway...

2 minThe visitors have gone straight onto the front foot, and there are already suggestions that Everton can trouble Chelsea today. A Richarlison shot is deflected wide for a corner.

3 minThe inswinging set piece is almost headed in by Keane before Gomes deflects the ball over the crossbar. It has been a very positive start from Everton.

5 minEverton win a free kick in a threatening position and the floated delivery should be headed on goal by Mina. However, the Colombia international misses the ball and Chelsea survive.

7 minChelsea take the opportunity to get their foot on the ball in their own half, but they are soon dispossessed. Luiz and Kovacic are forced to combine to see off the threat offered by Richarlison.

9 minThe home side have had a bit more joy over the past couple of minutes, but they are still struggling to get anything going.

11 minEverton hit back through Coleman who is able to win a corner after getting down the right flank.

12 minSHOT!  Digne's flatter delivery is easily cleared but only to Bernard, who chests the ball down before drilling a half-volley from 25 yards marginally wide of the post. It's a very good effort from the Brazilian.

14 minChelsea are too slow with the ball at their feet and they are frequently being dispossessed by Everton, especially in midfield areas.

16 minStamford Bridge is much quieter than it was at the start of the game. It's a sign that the home team's supporters recognise that their side are second best here.

18 minAn early cross from Alonso is well defended by Digne, who heads the ball behind for a corner. However, Chelsea make nothing of it with the set piece being played short.

20 minEverton are also finding it more difficult to keep hold of possession, but they are still matching their hosts blow for blow. Silva will be delighted with how his side have applied themselves.

22 minYELLOW CARD!  Mina goes into the book for a foul on Hazard, but it's an extremely harsh decision. The defender made contact with the ball and did not dive in dangerously. Chelsea have a free kick from 25 yards out...

23 minSHOT!  Luiz and Willian are standing over the ball, but it is Alonso who takes it. It's a low effort from the Spaniard, and the ball goes just wide of Pickford's right-hand side.

25 minThe decision to award that free kick really angered the Everton players, and it has led to the intensity going up a notch. They need to channel their frustration in the right way.

27 minWe are still lacking shots on goal from open play. A lot of moves have broken down once they have reached the final third. Neither Hazard or Sigurdsson have been in the game.

28 minYELLOW CARD!  As I say that, Sigurdsson takes the ball away from Jorginho and the Italian takes it upon himself to cynically foul the Icelandic playmaker.

30 minSHOT!  Sigurdsson seems to be really struggling but Digne's inswinging set piece finds Keane, who sends a header well over the crossbar.

32 minChelsea have kept hold of the ball well over the past couple of minutes, taking advantage of the fact that Sigurdsson is effectively a passenger while he shakes off his ankle knock.

33 minYELLOW CARD!  Kante is now handed a yellow card for a foul on Richarlison. Advantage was played, but the referee soon dished out the booking once an offside was given against Walcott.

35 minNone of Chelsea's flicks in the final third are paying off today. They are missing Barkley's creativity, and that appears to be the obvious change for early in the second half.

37 minMore possession football from the home side, but they just can't shake off the attention of Everton's defence and midfield. Mina has looked solid up against Morata.

38 minAlonso has got away with one here. He made a genuine attempt to win the ball from Walcott, but only makes contact with the winger's ankle. Studs up too. It should be at least a yellow card.

40 minSHOT!  This is almost stunning from Chelsea and Alonso. The left-back made a run behind the Everton defence to meet a Willian free kick and struck a volley towards the far top corner. It looks to be sailing into the net, but Pickford gets a strong hand in the way.

42 minChelsea are having their best spell of the game, but it still looks like it will take something special to get the better of this Everton defence. The Toffees' supporters will really like the look of Mina.

44 minLooks like we are going to head into the break on level terms. Both teams will be fairly satisfied, but it feels like Chelsea can move into an extra gear.

45+1 minThere will be three minutes of added-on time.

45+2 minYELLOW CARD!  Rudiger and Bernard have a coming together on the halfway line, and Rudiger goes down holding his face. There's little in it, but the referee decides to book both players.

45+4 minHALF TIME:  Chelsea 0-0 Everton

3.07pmThe half-time whistle goes at Stamford Bridge and we remain goalless. Chances have been few and far between, but tensions are threatening to boil over. The break has come at a good time for both teams.

3.11pmThe best chances for either side have come from speculative left-footed volleys. Bernard sent a fizzing effort just wide of Arrizabalaga's post from 25 yards out, while Chelsea's Alonso was denied from an acute angle by a super save from Pickford.

3.15pmIt shouldn't be long before Sarri opts to introduce Barkley against his former club. Chelsea are missing his creativity in behind the striker. Silva will probably keep things as they are.

46 minKICKOFF:  Chelsea get us back underway.

46 minCHANCE!  The Blues almost score after less than 15 seconds! Hazard's cross from the left finds Morata who is waiting around eight yards out, but Pickford dives to his right to keep the shot out.

48 minChelsea's opening has put Everton onto the back foot. It's exactly what Sarri would have demanded. However, the home side are caught out by a long pass to Walcott, but the winger miscontroled the ball.

50 minEverton have responded positively with Sigurdsson looking to break forward in support of Richarlison. This is shaping up rather well...

52 minBarkley is out warming up ahead of his introduction and he is being roundly booed by the travelling Everton support.

53 minHazard beats the offside trap and finding Morata in front of goal should be a relatively simple task. However, the Belgian puts too much pace on his cross and Morata can't connect.

55 minDigne makes connection with Willian's knee in the corner of the pitch, but there is no malice in the challenge and the Frenchman avoids a yellow card. Willian is ok to continue.

56 minSHOT!  Better from Everton who give Sigurdsson the chance to shoot from distance. The playmaker should be able to find either corner, but his 25-yard strike is straight at Arrizabalaga, who tips the ball over the crossbar.

58 minChelsea think that they should have a penalty when Mina hauls down Morata at the back post. There is not a lot of contact, but the defender is not paying any attention to the ball.

60 minCHANCE!  Big chance for Chelsea. Hazard threads a pass through to the advancing Willian, but the Brazilian drags a shot from 14 yards wide of the far post. Morata was an option, but it would have been a risky pass.

61 minSHOT!  Hazard is the next man to try his luck, but Pickford is able to punch his low drive from distance away from danger. Chelsea are stepping it up...

63 minIt is constant pressure from Chelsea, but they cannot find a way through. Luiz should score with a header from a corner but completely mistimes his jump, and Jorginho sees a long-ranger blocked by a defender.

64 minSUBSTITUTION! Everton make the first change of the game with Lookman taking the place of Bernard.

65 minSUBSTITUTION! Sarri also makes a switch with Fabregas coming on for Jorginho.

65 minOFF THE POST!  Alonso is such a threat on the left flank. The ball falls invitingly for him on the side of the area, and his half-volley beats Pickford and hits the outside of the far post.

67 minIt is a mystery how this game is still goalless. Both teams are showing that they are prepared to push men forward in search of a winner.

68 minSUBSTITUTION! Chelsea's second change sees Pedro replace Willian. It doesn't look like Barkley is going to get on against his former club. Giroud will likely replace Morata at some stage.

70 minJust the 20 minutes to go now. It is Chelsea who are in the ascendancy, but they have slowed things down a touch in a bid to get Fabregas and Pedro settled in the game.

72 minDISALLOWED GOAL!  Chelsea work the ball around well before Azpilicueta crosses for Morata, who converts from close range. However, the forward was a yard offside.

73 minCHANCE!  Chelsea have been terrific this half but they squander another chance, with Hazard poking wide of the far post having been played through on goal.

75 minSUBSTITUTION! This is interesting. Sigurdsson is coming off and Jagielka is being introduced. Change of system for Everton.

77 minChelsea are going to have to work harder to find space in the final third with Everton using five players at the back, but it at least frees up a bit of space to build up play through Fabregas.

79 minThe Blues are still working the ball down the sides to good effect, but Mina and Keane are mopping up the crosses which are sent into the area. Mina has been terrific in this match.

81 minEverton may be lining up more defensively, but they still possess a threat. A superb piece of play from Lookman earns the visitors a corner, but nothing comes from it.

82 minSUBSTITUTION! Both Hazard and Morata are going to see the game out because Barkley has been sent on in place of Kovacic.

85 minEverton win a free kick on the left flank but Digne's set piece goes over everyone and Walcott can't make anything of the second ball.

86 minKante is starting to play in a more advanced role but Fabregas can't pick out the Frenchman who is all on his own inside the penalty area. That was a missed chance, especially at this stage.

88 minYELLOW CARD!  Morata has gone into the book for dissent. The Spaniard has not been shy in voicing his opinion this afternoon.

89 minSUBSTITUTION! Richarlison has picked up a groin injury, leaving Silva to introduce Calvert-Lewin.

90 minThere will be five minutes of added-on time.

90+1 minBarkley has tried to do too much since his introduction. An ambitious effort from 35 yards went well wide, and he has misplaced a couple of easy passes.

90+3 minThis match is starting to peter out now. Everton will be absolutely delighted if they can hold on for these remaining two minutes.

90+5 minChelsea win a late free kick around 35 yards from goal. This will be the last action of the game...

90+6 minFULL TIME:  Chelsea 0-0 Everton

4.14pmNothing comes from the set piece, and it leaves Everton to secure a point after a goalless draw at the home of Chelsea. The Blues had the better opportunities, but the visitors are well worth their point. Chelsea remain unbeaten in this season's Premier League, while Everton extend their recent tally to 13 points from six matches.

4.16pmThat will be all from Sports Mole for this game. Thank you for joining us this afternoon and we hope that you can stick around for the Manchester derby and the fixture between Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
