Midfielder Matteo Guendouzi says that Arsenal's "togetherness" has been a key factor in the club's 16-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has revealed that there are "no specific groups" in the team's changing rooms, and it has contributed to the club's recent good form.

Unai Emery replaced Arsene Wenger in the summer but after losing his opening two matches, the Spaniard has witnessed his new side put together a 16-match unbeaten run.

Guendouzi has played a key role during that period, and the young Frenchman has suggested that the squad's "togetherness" is the main reason behind their performances on the pitch.

The 19-year-old told Foot Mercato: "I'm very happy about my start. After that, the most important for me is the team, we're on a good run of 15 or 16 games without a loss, which is something we need to continue on.

"We've drawn the last three games in the league, but we're a very solid team, and I hope we can do great things. There's a really good togetherness in the group, and that's why we've made a good start to the season.

"It really is everyone together. There's no specific groups, and it shows on the pitch."

Arsenal currently sit in fifth place in the Premier League standings.
