Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva are named as the coaches for Brazil's latest season of the Ultimate Fighter, to be filmed later this year.

UFC president Dana White has announced that Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva will continue their simmering rivalry as opposing coaches on The Ultimate Fighter Brazil's third season.

Sonnen and Silva have been embroiled in a war of words for much of 2013, which led to the Brazilian angrily confronting his nemesis at a Las Vegas convention last month.

White dropped a bombshell on Sonnen as he was interviewed by the two-time title challenger this evening by revealing that he will coach his opponent Silva in Brazil before fighting his long-time foe next year.

On FOX Sports he said: "People in my own company will be mad at me for this but I guess I can give you something.

"I told everyone we wouldn't release the coaches for TUF Brazil until mid-November, but I guess we'll do it here.

"The coaches are Wanderlei Silva and Chael Sonnen. Then those two will fight. You will have a ton of security down in Brazil and it should be a fun season."

Both men have served as coaches on the popular reality-based format previously, with Silva appearing on the programme's inaugural series in Brazil last year.

Before Sonnen's attention can turn to Wanderlei, he has a light-heavyweight showdown booked for November 16 when he takes on former champion Rashad Evans at UFC 167.
