Great Britain claim paratriathlon gold

Lauren Steadman and Alison Patrick win gold at the European Triathlon Championships, as Great Britain claim six medals.

Lauren Steadman and Alison Patrick have claimed gold medals for Great Britain in the paratriathlon at the European Triathlon Championships in Geneva.

Steadman was victorious in the PT4 category to complete a hat-trick of European paratriathlon titles.

Meanwhile, Patrick won gold in the PT5 category, with her fellow Brit Melissa Reid picking up a bronze medal.

There were also medals for Phil Hogg, Faye McClelland and Clare Cunningham, as Britain's athletes continued their preparations for the World Championships in Chicago this September.
