Kei Nishikori eases past Andrey Kuznetsov 7-5 6-3 7-5 on Saturday to advance to a fourth-round Wimbledon showdown with Marin Cilic.

Kei Nishikori has reached the fourth round of Wimbledon after a straightforward 7-5 6-3 7-5 third-round victory over Andrey Kuznetsov on Saturday afternoon.

The men's fifth seed looked to be in trouble when he lost serve at three-all early on, but he was then able to break the Russian's serve twice thereafter to clinch the first set.

Nishikori capitalised on 16 unforced errors by Kuznetsov to win the second set 6-3, and from then on the Japanese number one never looked back as he progressed into the latter rounds of the tournament.

Up next for Nishikori is a reunion with Marin Cilic in the fourth round.
