Andy Murray has cruised into the fourth round of Wimbledon after seeing off John Millman 6-3 7-5 6-2 on Saturday afternoon.

The Scot encountered some resistance from his Australian opponent, but despite breaking Murray's serve twice in the match, Millman was never in the running to upset the world number two.

Murray breezed through the first set in 34 minutes but was made to sweat in the second, taking just over 70 minutes to get the better of the world number 67.

The final set was little more than a formality for the British number one, ending in 31 minutes as he progressed to the last 16 of the tournament.

Murray will face another Australian, Nick Kyrgios, or Spain's Feliciano Lopez in round four on Monday, and is now the highest-ranked contestant left standing following Novak Djokovic's shock elimination.
